REMINDER: I WILL DELETE "ANONYMOUS" COMMENTS AND THOSE I FIND GRATUITOUSLY VULGAR, INSULTING, INCOMPREHENSIBLE, OR JUST GENERALLY ANNOYING IN MY SOLE AND UNREVIEWABLE DISCRETION.

  1. His 59th, if I'm not mistaken.

A close second to Jeff Catlin as My Leader.

  2. Do you care at all to participate here other than deleting comments?

  3. So Cat, the guy who puts his own ego in front of the betterment of the station, is your leader?

    1. The station has and continues to kill under his management. What fucking planet do you live on?

That, and stop posing as others. You fucking creep.

    2. You could put a monkey in his position and it wouldn’t make a difference.

    3. oh, please "TC", do give examples of this alleged Catlin Ego Front. we'll wait.

    4. Not mentioning Jake or Dan's name at Ticketstock roundtables and scrubbing their drops from the station.

Not hiring Justin as a full time host

Not letting shows pick their own producers

    5. First off, moron, both Dan and Jake were mentioned on-air last week. Second, THEY NO LONGER WORK AT THE STATION. THEY QUIT. THEY QUIT IN A DISINGENUOUS FASHION THEN, ALONG WITH THEIR "LEGAL DREAM TEAM", ATTEMPTED TO MAKE CUMULUS THE FACE OF A LANDMARK LABOR CASE. AFTER ALL THAT, AND GETTING EXACTLY WHAT THEY WANTED, THEY PROCEEDED TO 1. CONSTANTLY TAKE DIRECT AND SIDEWAYS SHOTS AT THE TICKET, CAT, AND CUMULUS; AND 2. HAD AND CONTINUE TO HAVE ON GUESTS (INCLUDING THEIR LAWYERS) WHO TAKE DIRECT AND SIDEWAYS SHOTS AT THE TICKET, CAT, AND CUMULUS. ONE FORMER TICKET EMPLOYEE WHO ALSO QUIT IN A DISINGENUOUS FASHION, DANNY, EVEN PENNED AND PERFORMED A SONG DENIGRATING CAT. Does any of this compute with you, sport? I can guarantee you that Cat did not ban any mention of Dan and Jake at Ticketstock. Why would an employer celebrate former employees who quit and went on to do what they did? Answer: THEY WOULDN'T. NO EMPLOYER WOULD. I'll ask again. How old are you?

that's what the rest of us needed to know.

  4. The people that love to bash cat also love the pairing of Dan and Jake. Pretty funny.

  5. Hard to imagine someone liking Jeff Catlin and thinking the Sean Bass/Mino show is actually good, but the owner of this site does. For those with any appreciation of the history of The Ticket, Bruce Gilbert is the one who should be your leader. Not the guy responsible for Ladies Be Trippin, charging for Ticketstock, and running off anyone with a hint of talent under 40.

    1. The Sweet Spot numbers are commensurate with THZ numbers. I know that's a difficult thing for your myopic purview to handle. Who did Cat run off under 40? Sirois? Danny? Dan? All were over 40 (Danny over 50). Julie. Oh yeah, that's some talent. Bullsh. Jake? Jake was not run off by anyone. He got his dream job then fought for and got the compensation he felt he deserved. And when it came time to reup and make more money, he and his bae decided to bolt. Did so in a disengenuous manner to boot.

    2. You guys treat a radio station like a 5 year old treats his mommy. Like she can do no wrong and is perfect. You may find it impossible to believe, but I think The Ticket is a shell of its former self *and* the The Dumb Zone isn't great either.

  6. Cat was also mean and dismissive to people he felt were weird or too excited according to TC.

    1. Sean isn't my cup of tea, but he's not riding Jake's coattail. Sean is a perfect example of staying the course, hanging around long enough to get your shot. But I do agree with your last statement. TSS and TDZ are pretty much a toss up. By the way, TDZ isn't quite hemerrohaging subs, but its numbers have been and continue to slide. Peak DZ has already happened.
