A home for those who love almost everything about The Ticket (1310 AM, 96.7 FM, Dallas-Fort Worth), and who would like to discuss -- respectfully and fondly -- their thoughts on how (and whether) to eliminate the "almost."
Re some of the curious comments on the last thread:
(1) I don't mind Emoji Man. He's not "killing this site." Nor have his offerings rendered the site "unreadable because of one dipshit." Judging from the volume of comments – and sure, they may all be from the same handful of Confessors, but I don't think so – the site remains pretty popular. EM is harmless, sometimes amusing, sometimes trenchant.
(2) I check the site every day, sometimes twice. Because I have a fairly light hand on the delete button doesn't mean I'm not keeping an eye on matters.
(3) With regard to the following comments referring to Your Plainsman:
"The absolute barren emptiness and meaninglessness of that person’s life must honestly be sort of a living hell.”
"But he doesn't care, he apparently works at the Pentagon since he is too busy to check on his site but once a month."
All comments critical of Your Plainsman are incorrect.
(4) I remain startled at the thin response to the call for commentary on the current JV. Perhaps that is itself a response – those gents aren't firing anyone up one way or the other?
(5) I want to comment on the account from the last thread by Denny at 3:31 pm on February 19 about CdS's recent broadcast. Another time.
