So this question remains though...why not make 100% available? And have them arranged by show rather than a hodgepodge of 1 days segments scattered among 7 different podcast feeds??
I assume it has been portioned into individual channels and segments for several reasons, but #1-5 is "advertising".
The rest is a mix of programming choices based, again my assumption, is to provide content based on interests.
As a business person, I can't figure out a justifiable use case, specific to The Ticket, where dumping 100% of the day's unedited audio online somehow isn't a giant risk to what is its singular goal: Nielsen ratings.
Ironically, because of the lawsuit the station currently isn't in that system, but (again) I assume that will be settled soon. Maybe Cumulus dumps Nielsen forever, and then the goal posts are moved and maybe the station reconsiders its digital playbook.
Junior mentioned if in scatter shooting on Friday. I have not heard it discussed elsewhere on the little one but I have not heard every segment either.
You can have the best antenna and transmitter in the world and it won't stop the Spanish station in Tyler from bleeding over when the weather is changing. Something about the physics of the way FM radio signals travel. YMMV
What I was gonna say. The vibes have definitely on the Reddit pages. No idea how their subs are looking, but it went from always positive can’t be negative to mainly negative and people saying why they stopped subscribing lol.
Never listened/subscribed to DZ pod, nor peruse Reddit. So all the STB talk was about mental Jake and above average (yet greatness with Bob) Dan? Well kiss my grits. Strangely, all the pods being broadcast on Fox 4 late night are now a part of my wife's fall asleep routine. Which means I am now exposed to to a wide range of pure crap.
Thing is, Ed, it's deeper than that. There are obvious deleterious issues going on in TDZ world that have been affecting the product for quite some time now. And they all appear to be Jake centric. He seems to have reconnected with his high school/college self and has embraced the reunion in full throated fashion. OK, he never actually left that exceedingly unattractive part of himself behind. But he matured just enough to mask it. Over the past three years, whatever restraints in place have all been removed. Points For Sex cum The Rich Kid Activist cum Smartest Guy in the Room Just Ask Me is back. And he's in full effect, totally unfettered.

I don't know how anyone can make it through a segment like that without stabbing themselves in the eye. I looked, it is on The Ticket Top 10 if you want to torture yourself.
So you're saying a sports talk radio station shouldn't talk about the most paid attention to, obsessed over sports org in the region who are currently playing out their season. Cool.
Another bad take by Slurm on Arch Manning. Of course the tape lies. How many 1st round busts have there been in the NFL that had incredible tape? Slurm sucks. He’s turning into Gordon trying to argue both sides.
True they can both be good. However earlier this week, Sturm called Purdy a system QB. Then when Troy was on he said people are no longer saying that because Purdy has proven himself. He does lead the league in total QBR and is 2nd to only Josh Allen in traditional QB rating.
No Corby Snake the problem we have is subsidizing a stadium for a billionaire when we have so many other problems like public education funding. Let them building their own GD stadium.
I hadn't heard it in my listening, but quite possible one or another host has covered it.
