FINGER-WAGGING SCHOOLMARM ALERT: Someone Should Gently Advise Conrad on How to Pronounce "Respite"
Yes, I know -- picky, picky, picky, and not such a great red. But your esteemed Plainsman has noted errors in other commercials in the past, which disappeared. I'm thinking of the Mullen & Mullen ad where it was clear that Shane Mullen did not know the meaning of the phrase "spoiler alert."
Meant to add: I'm trying to listen to the entire day's broadcast. Aiming at a couple of thoughts I hope to share. I know I've been distant lately, will try to do better, like the Cowboys.
Good lord, Weeeeee-nerrrrrrrrrr, you're right. Man, that was three years ago. And obviously, no one took my advice back then. I really need to schedule that CT scan. Thanks for pointing this out, and thanks for continuing to shop at My Ticket Confession.
Do you guys remember those terrible McClure Law Group ads from years ago, narrated by the Not-Really-Known-As-The-Bulldog herself? This site did a whole bunch of takedowns of those ads, including pointing out that her ads and website claimed three different dates for her board certification, and a lexicon so one could figure out what words she was trying to say. Those were the days.

ReplyDeleteAnd you're right. I do need to do better. But we needed a thread refresh anyway.
