Anyone Know What Bob Said?

Confessor Shaggy reports, second-hand, that Bob "let slip" that The Shake Joint showgram with Sean Bass and Jake Kemp is coming to an end this Sunday.  Did anyone hear that and can anyone give a report?

Does it have anything to do with even more Cowboys' pre-game coverage?

I'll see if I can find out anything.

Thanks for tending to the joint while I was away.  I'm back and trying to find time to give you a report.

  1. Might have had a bona fide tense moment between George and Gordon on the observation deck this morning.

  2. I heard that. It was one of those Gordon-baiting-George things that brings the broadcast day to a complete halt. George mentioned that he had toured a Nazi submarine at a Chicago museum (I think that would have been the Museum of Science and Industry), and Gordon started jabbing George about his father not having fought the Germans, but rather the Japanese. After the 60 or so years they've all been on the air together, George hasn't learned to lay out on nonsense like that, so it went on and on and on to limited entertainment effect, until Craig got things back on track by reminding them that they were supposed to be talking about a seaborne human torso story.

  3. P-Man, Sean and Jake will be taking over as host of the Cowboys pregame show. Bob is stepping back from hosting the pregame show this year. I assume if the Shake Joint is coming to an end its because of that. They probably don't want to do six hours of radio on every Sunday. I would guess that the Shake Join would come back after the football season but that's just me speculating wildly.

  4. Bob: So um, (me and Jake) in studio for another couple days, then Friday we have The Shake Joint right?

    Jake: Indeed

Bob: Or is that now called the Cowboys Pre-Game Show?

    Jake: Oh, I don't know...

Bob: Does The Shake Joint still exist?

Jake: I don't know. It does this Sunday!

Bob: Do you guys have...have you planned a farewell show? This Sunday?

Jake: No, I don't think that's been discussed at all.

    Bob: When is your farewell?

    Jake: Don't know.

Bob: Has THAT been discussed? Am I uh, speaking about things I have no business speaking about on the air?

    Jake: You are!

Bob: Oh I am? Oh! I'M SORRY! I didn't--I thought that was for air! Ok I'm sorry.

    Monty: Dumping it.

Bob: Well there, that's for you reddit
