I Would Like to Wish Craig "Junior" Miller a Very Happy 60th Birthday
I used to enjoy reading the comments, but one-word response guy has officially whipped me into submission. RIP My Ticket Confession. Won’t be coming back until Plainsman can get a handle on things.
If emoji man is what it takes to make you go away, godspeed to them. You are the actual ass whip around here. Same doucher making basically the same comment over and over. You do it on reddit too. Yeah, you're that obvious.
I agree and the time away has done him good. He fills a void for a part time fill in but I doubt the Overlords in Atlanta will never let him be anymore than that again. Frankly, I'm surprised they Ok'ed the continuation of the Norm-a-Thon. (unless the sponsors paid for the time)
Norm back in small doses is greatness. I, too, have really enjoyed him. He is radio greatness. Take note new guys, he shows how to be a total sports nerd, but he's entertaining.

Respectfully, completely disagree. I love that the Musers do their best to avoid politics. It's an oasis, may it stay so. I don't want to hear from the left or the right. Give me this space of sports and funny. I wish the Hardline would stay as disciplined.

On that note, wtf would Cirque talk about if not for The Ticket? Bizarro World shit I must say. I mean, going on for months and coming up on years about The Freak, iHeart, and Rhyner I get. You got shitcanned and were left out to dry by Rhyner. But The Ticket angle I don't get. Other than it's the only way you can keep those 35 regulars interested. Well poor Mike had to settle for a failed radio station and then Patreon scraps while Davey got a full-time gig and something Sirios always wanted but was too impatient to wait for. I don’t know where Fivehead got his information but it’s just wrong. MS left first, knowing he was going to the freak. That started the game of musical chairs with producers, board ops and ticker guys. Around the same time Norm wanted to retire. I have a source inside the Ticket, I’m told Norm went to Bennet and Catlin to quit immediately after the draft and he was told “contract goes both ways, if you want to leave we can fix it, but keep working as we negotiate the ending of your contract”. At the same time THZ was in negotiations with Cumulus corporate which ended with their poison pill “we want to own what we do, we want the ability to sell our own outside events , like podcast recordings on site, with cumulus having no say in it”. The problem there was THZ could theoretically sell their remotes at the same time as a hardline remote, splitting the stations audience for their own benefit. So Norm retires, Carlin starts going the tapes and resumes. That whole month of July was the “it’s just drydock, don’t worry it’s just summer vacation”. And nobody in Dallas really knew what was going on because THZ was negotiating w Atlanta. Once THZ was officially gone, then Catlin started slotting people. I know people bag on McClarin, but the dude is a radio veteran with a ratings track record, something you can’t say for Mike, Danny, TC, Monty, even Jake solo. So Catlin pairs MM with Donnie, Bass and Mini and Monty etc. the reason Lane got hired as a host was that as part of the chair shuffling they went from 3 ticker people to 2. That money along the savings of McDowell w 20 years of salary increases vs Mino or Bass, they could hire Dave and DJ and probably still had some money left over C

Had no idea morning drive was such a dangerous profession. So glad the boys have survived all these years under such dangerous conditions. Also believe the only reason Miller continues letters from listeners is to plug the podcast at the end of the segment. Always ends with a pandering letter.
