Did I Just Hear a Very Brief and Sneaky . . .

.  .  .  fart drop right after the end of the Peter Gammons interview this morning?  The hosts were kinda talking over it, but I could have sworn I heard one.  Anyone?

I know it's Mavs Parade Day, but first things first.

If I did hear correctly, it would seem to be evidence in support of my theory that The Musers (or maybe Fernando or Jeremy) do not like the Gammons interview.

Although they've been better lately.

  1. I think the Musers should look at this as a challange, rather than an obstacle. I am sure Gammons could tell some great stories. Why dont they (or Fernando) do a little research about Gammons and direct the call that way....

  2. Would that be the first poorly-placed (or perfectly-placed, depending on how you look at it) fart drop in the history of The Ticket? They have misfires and ninja drops all the time. Take Gordo's whispering non-sequiturs that he sneaks in at inappropriate times, for example. As Freud said, sometimes a fart drop is just a fart drop.

  4. In the grand scheme of things this is a non-story considering today's parade coverage was amazing. I know you may not have heard it, but that's really post worthy. The gammons stuff isn't important.

  5. Agreed. Why I kept it short, just something I didn't want to forget. On this great day, I figured I'd take some heat for trivia, why I threw in the "first things first" gag.

But your email reminds me of my next post. Thanks, A.

  6. Finally heard it -- It sounded like a spontaneously-generated sound effect by Gordo, not a drop snuck in by Jer.

  7. Yeah, I thought I heard something. Thanks, AP.

Although the last couple of weeks have seemed a little more comfortable, I still think the Musers really resent having to do that interview.
